My Current Muse: Siouxsie

Susan Janet Ballion better known by her stage name, Siouxsie Sioux, is a British singer/songwriter best known as the vocalist of Siouxsie and the Banshees between 1976 and 1996. Siouxsie is considered to be one of the most influential British singers of the post punk era and definitely an inspiration to those who love her style. I love her eye make-up!

She looks so amazing in this video for Hong Kong Garden

New York Vintage

I've only lived in New York for 5 days so I haven't seen too much but today I stumbled upon New York Vintage while on my way to meet some friends for dinner. I recognized it right away from the Rachel Zoe Project. I couldn't help but go in and check it out. I was blown away! The pieces could have come straight out of my fashion history book. Amazing!

Check it out if you are ever in NYC please.

If I only had $49

This morning I was browsing new fonts and I cam across the font "Buttermilk" designed by Jessica Hische. I'm in love and god knows if I only had $49 it would be mine today. Anyhow... from there I looked Jessica up to see if she has a website and I am blown away by her typography! To give you a little background, Jessica is a designer/illustrator currently living in Brooklyn. She spends her days drawing type and designing pretty things and her late nights working on everything from editorial illustration to hand-lettering for romance novel covers.

Beauty Muse: Katty Besnard

Plastiscines singer and guitar player, Katty Besnard has a vintage style that's reminiscent of 1960's sex symbols like Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot. If you check out old pics you can see her look has evolved quite a bit in the past year. I'm loving the big messy hair and dramatic lashes. Total inspiration.

Love Jenni Porkka Photography

Jenni Porkka is a young fashion photographer from Stockholm, Sweden. This is the first I've seen of her work. I love the washed out colors and use of natural scenery. So beautiful. I love her style.
